7. Therapy Dog Program: Prepare your dog for therapy work in a course that spans six months to a year. 9. Star Puppy Title: Begin your journey to excellence with our Star Puppy title, recognizing your pup's potential. Progress to the prestigious Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certification, showcasing exemplary behavior and obedience.
10. Canine Good Citizen Certification: Strive for higher proficiency with the Canine Good Citizen (CGC) title and prepare to reach the pinnacle of urban conduct with the Canine Good Citizen Urban (CGCU) title.
11. Advanced Canine Good Citizen Certification: The Advanced Canine Good Citizen tests your training at another level! AKC Community Canine is the advanced level of AKC’s Canine Good Citizen (CGC) program. There are some prerequisites for the CGCA. Before taking the CGCA test you must have completed a CGC test and have it on record with AKC and the dog MUST be registered with the AKC.
12. Canine Good Citizen Urban Certification: Your dog must showcase CGC skills and more in a city or town environment, including traffic, crowds, noises, and distractions. Prerequisite: a recorded CGC test with AKC.
